Epic 39, Division of Labor

An interesting Epic where we accept the variant rules that any tile possible to irrigate must not be mined ever, and we will have no representative government.

Full rules can be found here.

Implications of this will be I think that income will be high, while shields will be low compared to an ordinary game. We are celts who are Religious and Agricultural for fast growth and swift government changes.
Small world and only five opponents on continents.

The most obvious strategy to go for would be mass warrior->gallics upgrade and assault, maybe even Always War, given Monarchy is the first government accessible after Despotism.
Thinking this would be too easy, I will bet that we wont have access to iron in any easy way, especially since map is 'fixed'. At least we have access to fresh water in the form of a lake.

So, starting strategy will be ( besides the obvious growth ) to try and research by myself into techs, and see if I can get a space victory. It has been a long time since I made one of those. In order to get as fast as possible to space, I need to keep my opponents alive. This could be a dangerous pastime, since when they become democracies, they will outperform me very much.
